We’re never quite sure which factor is the most important in Asia’s rising focus on biofuels: Interventionist governments, concentration of capital, strong traditional focus on agriculture, carbon concerns or the lack of equivalent opportunities in fossil fuels. We suspect it might simply be the long-term outlook for energy demand — to power fast-growing economies, domestic energy is going to have to come from somewhere. READ MORE
