Let’s Not Repeat the Mistakes from the Past! A New TikTok Video from Advanced Biofuels USA
by Nathália Fernandes Pimentel (Advanced Biofuels USA) Let’s not repeat the mistakes from the past! Volunteers with Advanced Biofuels USA are responding to the demands from students and TikTok posters to tell them what is being done to mitigate climate change; to recognize that they know the doom and gloom projections and to let them know that is not the whole story.
In her second TikTok video for Advanced Biofuels USA, Nathália Fernandes Pimentel, a college student from Brazil who is finishing a thesis about biogas while studying in Hungary, continues her series explaining how renewable fuels can not only help mitigate climate change, but also contributes to energy security and energy independence which mitigates the vulnerability inherent in relying on imported energy exemplified by current experiences due to the war in Ukraine and European dependence on Russian energy resources.
