Biodiesel Plants Grown for Yangon Water Buses

“Within five years we will be growing hombayniya plants, which thrive only in Myanmar and India, in cooperation with agriculturalists from Australia. We are lucky that Myanmar has the best soil to grow biodiesel production plants.”
The company would provide whatever help farmers needed to grow the plants, she (Tint Tint Lwin, chairwoman of the company Tint Tint Myanmar) added. The company would produce biodiesel to be used in Yangon water buses within two years and had drafted a five-year environmental plan. READ MORE
