Work on Ethanol Plant in Ambala to Commence by Oct 2022
(Projects Today) Fylfot Geoworks is planning to set up ethanol unit with at Patvi in Ambala district of Haryana. The proposed unit will have a capacity of 100 klpd and will spread over 25 acres land parcel. The project will also include installation of 4 MW rice-husk based captive power plant.
As per the information gathered by Projects Today, the company awaiting environment clearance for the project. The contractor and machinery suppliers have been finalised for the project.
The work on the project is expected to commence by October 2022. The company is expecting to complete the project by September 2023. READ MORE

Excerpt from Biofuels Digest: Broken rice, maize, and wheat will be used as ethanol feedstock. In addition to the ethanol facility, a 4MW captive cogeneration facility will be set up using rice husk as feedstock. The project received its environmental clearance in late July. READ MORE
