Ukrainian Grain Company Wins Certificate for EU Biofuel Supplies

by Alexander Bor  (Platts)  Ukraine’s State Food Grain Corporation, one of the country’s largest grain traders, has won a certificate allowing it to export raw materials for biofuel production in the EU, the company said Friday.  “After getting access to the EU markets, we get a chance to export our products on better terms and at higher prices,” chairman Ihor Yakubovych said.  The certificate, awarded by the RED Bioenergy Sustainability Assurance (RBSA), is needed by suppliers of organic raw materials for biofuel production in the EU.  READ MORE
