Young Investigator Best Paper Award Announced by Industrial Biotechnology DEADLINE: October 1, 2022
(Algae Biomass Organization/Industrial Biotechnology) Industrial Biotechnology is proud to announce its very first Young Investigator Best Paper Award. This award will be dedicated to recognizing a published original research paper by a young investigator as first or corresponding author. The award will be determined by the Editorial Board Members of the journal and will be formally decided by December 1, 2022. Awardees will receive a $1,500 USD award and a dedicated global press release celebrating their exceptional contributions to the field.
A Young Investigator is defined as any individual who is within 10 years of completing a Ph.D. degree by the award decision date (December 1, 2022). Manuscript submission must be entered by no later than October 1, 2022 and identified as a candidate for consideration of the award in the submission cover letter.
Characteristics associated with a best paper include the introduction of an important new technique or approach in the field, a solution of a long-standing open problem, introduction and solution of an interesting and important new problem, highly innovative application of known ideas or existing techniques, and/or the presentation of a new system of outstanding relevance in the field. Under exceptional circumstances, the Program Committee may give two awards (ex aequo) or give no award.
