World First ISCC Independent Smallholder Certificate Event — March 26, 2018 — Jambi, Indonesia
The independent smallholder from Jambi have received their first ISCC certificate. This will be celebrated on 26 March at Swiss Belholtel in Jambi City together with project partners such as SNV, Government and company representatives and the press. Erwin Widodo, who is also the representative of TFA in Southeast Asia will moderate the event.
During the event we will give insights into challenges for independent smallholder to become certifiedand introduce innovative tools and approaches to tackle these challenges. One such tool is the Smallholder App & Visualization Tool – check out the video to see how it works!
Furthermore you will learn more about the ISCC independent smallholder certification concept enabling smallholder farmers to sell their fully traceable palm oil at the international market at a competitive price, taking away the need to further expand into forested areas.
