ANOTHER NEW DATE World BioMarkets 2020 and SynBio Markets 2020 — POSTPONED (final time) to March 29-31, April 1, 2021 — ONLINE or Amsterdam, Netherlands

World Bio Markets gives an opportunity to hear from and network with delegates from large brands to small start-ups from across the bioeconomy with a common goal of a more sustainable future bringing together over 600 senior professionals and decision-makers from lab to market, on a collaborative quest to commercialise the bio-economy.
World Bio Markets is the only event that focuses entirely on making a commercial success of the bio economy, so we can find viable, long-term, sustainable solutions to fuel, cloth, feed and heal our growing population whilst hopefully preserving natural habitats for the creatures and plants who share our planet with us.
We bring together the entire value chain to share their experiences and expertise, dissect the complexities, overcome the challenges, and collaboratively drive change through commercially viable innovation. READ MORE

Regrettably, with 10 weeks to go until the rescheduled November dates, international travel is still severely affected, many company travel bans remain in place, and understandably, health concerns continue for many, and with that level of uncertainly we have decided to postpone the event for the second and final time to 29th-31st March 2021.
Due to growing concerns around the coronavirus (COVID-19) Bio Market Insights, organiser of World Bio Markets, the world’s leading bioeconomy event, is today announcing that World Bio Markets 2020 will be rescheduled from the current dates of 23 – 25 March 2020, to take place November 2-4 2020, at the same location in Amsterdam.
The wellbeing of our speakers, sponsors, attendees and staff is our primary concern. Having undertaken a consultation with our partners and speakers, it became clear that there was a unified desire for a positive event reflecting the growth of our industry and not one clouded by health risks. There are concerns that travel issues may impact the high-level speakers and strong attendance levels the event delivers to our community. Many of our speaker and partner companies already have travel bans in place which would prohibit their involvement, and we’ve been advised that others are likely to put similar measures in place over the coming weeks.
As a result, and on further monitoring the spread of Coronavirus (COVID-19), we have concluded that a postponement is the best course of action for all parties concerned. This decision has been understood and supported by our clients and partners. As a small, independent business, that has worked on this edition of the event for over 12 months, this is not a decision we have taken lightly. However, we will use the new dates to create added value for our partners, through the co-location of SynBio Markets 2020 in Amsterdam, alongside World Bio Markets 2020.
Meanwhile, we will also continue to support the industry through our in-depth coverage of the bioeconomy, as well as furthering the development of our online content and networking offering, enabling the industry to connect through our online channels.
We will be providing regular updates to the community regarding World Bio Markets 2020 in November, including specific dates and next steps. Finally, we greatly appreciate the goodwill and support from all our clients and partners and are available to answer any questions you may have.
Kind regards,
The Bio Market Insights team.
