(Argus Media) Brazilian oil regulator ANP is taking a series of extraordinary measures to replenish fuel supplies in the face of a crippling nationwide truckers´ strike.
The regulator opened emergency stocks of diesel, gasoline, LPG and jet fuel, and authorized retail fuel stations to access any available brand of supply.
It also reduced the required percentage of ethanol blended into gasoline from 27pc to 18pc and suspended a 10pc biodiesel blending mandate; suspended rules restricting exchange depots for LPG canisters; and authorized corporate clients to sell diesel stocks to service stations.

Truckers´ union Abcam says it will only break the strike when Temer signs a law or issues a decree eliminating federal fuel taxes.
