Railroad to Settle for $170,000 over Ethanol Spill, Fire

by Kimball Perry (Columbus Dispatch) Four years ago, a broken rail caused 16 railroad cars to jump the track near Columbus’ Weinland Park neighborhood, igniting a fireball of ethanol on board.
On Tuesday, the Franklin County commissioners are prepared to accept $170,709.34 from Norfolk Southern Railroad to pay the government agencies that responded to the incident. READ MORE
