Qld Drivers Buying State’s Ethanol Push
(AAP/Yahoo! News) Queenslanders are increasingly filling up their vehicles with E10 ahead of a New Year ethanol mandate.
A fuel sales data analysis by the RACQ shows that 35.6 million litres of E10 was sold in Queensland in October, an 11 per cent increase on the previous month.
The state government has been pushing for a greater uptake of biofuels, with fuel retailers to be required by law from January 1 to ensure three per cent of their petrol sales each quarter are biofuel-based. READ MORE and MORE (Cairns Post) and MORE (Ethanol Producer Magazine)
