Push Is on for More E85

With gas prices now at $4 a gallon, there is a push to expand the use of alternative fuels.
The bottom line is, right now, there aren’t enough E85 fuel pumps for drivers across Mid-Michigan, but that may change.
As gas prices continue to surge, agriculture officials are calling for more E85 production and expansion. U.S. Agriculture Secretary Tom Vilsack wants 10,000 flex fuel pumps in operation within the next five years.
…The good news is flex-fuel vehicles cost about the same as ones that use only gasoline. If gas prices continue to climb or ethanol prices go down, the savings could start to add up. READ MORE
