Online Workshop: Innovations in Materials Preprocessing – Feedstock Handling and Fractionation for Improved Process Reliability — January 21, 2021

Join researchers at Idaho National Laboratory’s Biomass Feedstock National User Facility (BFNUF) for a one-hour workshop titled, “Innovations in Materials Preprocessing – Feedstock Handling and Fractionation for Improved Process Reliability,” Thursday, January 21, 2021 at 1 p.m. ET.
BFNUF receives funding from the U.S. Department of Energy’s Bioenergy Technologies Office to address economic challenges and scientific knowledge gaps within the bioenergy industry. BFNUF’s newly expanded capabilities aim to substantially improve the economic value of mid-stream and downstream operations for bioenergy companies.
The purpose of the workshop is to:
- Share a vision for how feedstock preparation operations can benefit midstream and downstream operations. Improving process reliability and product quality could substantially reduce final product costs.
- Describe BFNUF’s ongoing upgrades.
- Identify upcoming collaboration opportunities for industry and academia to use the new facility.
- Survey potential partners to understand their needs and to provide feedback on BFNUF upgrade plans. READ MORE
