Letter: Renewable Fuel Standard Vital to Indiana

But the Renewable Fuel Standard (RFS) helps to shore up some of that uncertainty and gives farmers in our state a little more predictability in planning our expenses and estimating income for the year.
Despite the clear and overwhelming benefits of ethanol and the RFS, some Washington lawmakers want to change the law and reduce the amount of ethanol in the fuel supply. That would mean higher prices at the pump, less energy security for our nation, and dirtier air all around us. READ MORE
