Latest Earthquake Stories: Magnitude 4.5 Earthquake Shakes Oklahoma
(News9/Associated Press) A magnitude 4.5 magnitude earthquake shook north-central Oklahoma late Tuesday. This one occurred at 11:27 p.m. The U.S. Geological Survey reports the epicenter was near Pawnee, about 70 miles northeast of Oklahoma City. According to social media reports, this quake could be felt in an around the Tulsa area and as far away as Kansas City.

The U.S.G.S. says there have been five earthquakes with magnitudes ranging from 2.8 to 4.5 in Oklahoma in the past 24 hours. The largest being in Pawnee County.
