Green Chemistry Gordon Research Conference — June 24-29, 2022 — Castelldefels, Spain

Green Chemistry has revolutionized the molecular and engineering sciences providing guiding principles towards sustainable chemical value chains. It aims at minimizing the use and/or production of substances toxic to humans and the environment while maximizing resource efficiency and striving for closed material and energy cycles.
The Green Chemistry GRC will highlight the most recent advances in selected areas with an emphasis on scientific progress for real world applications. The session topics range from chemical energy conversion through catalysis for bulk and fine chemicals all the way to pharmaceutical production. The central Green Chemistry principle of “design” will be the common denominator for the contributions.
World leading experts will share their latest results with ample time for discussion during and between the sessions. The poster sessions will be a central forum for in depth discussion of current projects and new concepts. Attendees will select some of the best posters to be presented as short talks.
All participants are strongly encouraged to support the conference objectives of full participation through attendance and the presentation of a poster highlighting their recent work. Graduate students and postdoctoral fellows are also strongly encouraged to consider attending the Gordon Research Seminar (GRS) on Green Chemistry (same location) that is geared towards promoting interaction and discussion among junior scientists.
This GRC will be held in conjunction with the “Green Chemistry (GRS)” Gordon Research Seminar (GRS). Those interested in attending both meetings must submit an application for the GRS in addition to an application for the GRC. Refer to the associated GRS program page for more information.
Applications for this meeting must be submitted by June 26, 2022. Please apply early, as some meetings become oversubscribed (full) before this deadline. If the meeting is oversubscribed, it will be stated here. Note: Applications for oversubscribed meetings will only be considered by the conference chair if more seats become available due to cancellations. READ MORE
