The 2020 theme “Food Security and Sustainability”. GAF20 (Now taking place in 2021 2022) will be jointly carried out by DATAGRO, the Brazilian Rural Society (SRB), Abramil, Maizall, ABCZ, ABRAFRUTAS, the National Sugar-Energy Forum, UNEM, and ABPA The GAF is conducted by SRB (Brazilian Rural Society), representative of the agricultural sector in Brazil, defending producers of all crops and ranchers, together with ABRAMILHO (Brazilian Association of Corn Producers) and the International Maize Alliance (MAIZALL) whose main objective is to collaborate on a global basis and address key issues related to food safety, biotechnology, management, trade and producer image; ABCZ (Brazilian Association of Zebu Breeders), with the mission of promoting the sustainable increase of world meat and milk production through genealogical registration, genetic improvement and promotion of Zebu breeds; ABRAFRUTAS (Brazilian Association of Fruit and Derivative Exporting Producers) representing Brazilian fruit growing in the international market; the National Sugar-Energy Forum, an entity that brings together all the unions and associations of the Sugar and Ethanol Sectors in Brazil; UNEM (National Corn Ethanol Union) with the objective of promoting the industrial development of corn ethanol in the country, the Brazilian Association of Animal Protein (ABPA), the largest representative entity of the animal protein sector in Brazil; and DATAGRO, one of the largest agricultural consulting companies in the world. We welcome you to the 5th edition of the Global Agribusiness Forum, whose topic is “FOOD SECURITY, CLIMATE CHANGE AND SUSTAINABILITY”, an international meeting that gathers the greatest exponents of world agriculture to discuss agribusiness and seek solutions to challenges faced by humanity to develop social and economically and preserve the environment.
The Global Agribusiness Forum announces the transfer of the event to the year 2021 2022, in view of the international crisis related to the coronavirus (COVID-19). The decision was made unanimously by its directors – SRB (Brazilian Rural Society), ABRAMILHO (Brazilian Association of Maize Producers), MAIZALL (International Maize Alliance), ABCZ (Brazilian Association of Zebu Breeders), ABRAFRUTAS (Brazilian Association of Exporting Producers of Fruits and Derivatives), National Sugar-Energy Forum, UNEM (National Corn Ethanol Union), ABPA (Brazilian Animal Protein Association) and DATAGRO Consultancy.
