Ethanol Blender to Build Facility Near Airport
by Tim Rausch (Augusta Chronicle) The Augusta Economic Development Authority announced Monday that a biofuel company will build a terminal near Augusta Regional Airport.
Eco-Energy Inc., headquartered in Franklin, Tenn., will spend $10 million and hire five people for its ethanol blending center on Dixon Airline Road.
Walter Sprouse, the authority’s executive director, said the company picked the location for the railroad access, planning to build a spur on the property across from Bennett Building Systems. READ MORE
