Dubai-Based Jetex Offers SAF in Paris
by Ron Kotrba (Biobased Diesel Daily) Dubai-based Jetex announced Aug. 23 that the company began offering sustainable aviation fuel (SAF) at Jetex Le Bourget, Paris, earlier this summer. The SAF is manufactured from used cooking oil by French multinational oil company Total Energies. Jetex SAF fueling at the site is facilitated by an electric refueling truck, which the company says further reduces the operation’s carbon footprint.

According to Jetex, the use of SAF is a major focus for the company and forms part of its commitment to achieving net zero carbon emissions by 2050. Jetex says it is committed to the ambitious emissions reduction goals set by The International Air Transport Association. The company provides private terminals (FBOs), aircraft fueling, ground handling and global trip planning and caters to both owners and operators of business jets for corporate, commercial and personal air travel.
