CALL FOR PAPERS: Special Miscanthus Issue of Frontiers in Plant Science DEADLINE: April, 2016
Miscanthus papers are sought to contribute to a special issue of Frontiers in Plant Science called “Optimising Miscanthus for the Sustainable Bioeconomy: from Genes to Products.” Sections include plant physiology and genetics of different Miscanthus species to inform crop breeding; elucidation of key abiotic stress mechanisms to overcome environmental limitations to perennial biomass production; genotype x environment modelling; composition of Miscanthus biomass as it relates to diverse end-uses; agronomy and economic modelling; and life-cycle analysis for different production chains including biofuels, heat and power, biomaterials and biochemicals. Tentative titles should be submitted ASAP; abstracts are requested by April 2016 and full manuscripts by June 2016. For more, contact Dr. Emily Heaton.
