Amsterdam Energy Park to Include Biodiesel Plant

The Austrian company BDI – BioDiesel International AG has been commissioned by BioDiesel Amsterdam B.V. with the construction of a multi-feedstock BioDiesel plant in the port of Amsterdam. The contract value is about EUR 31 million. The plant with an annual capacity of 100,000 tons (113 million litres) will produce biodiesel from used cooking oil and animal fats in accordance with the EU standard EN 14214. The multi-feedstock process employed can process the most varied raw materials with up to 100% free fatty acids. Separation of the free fatty acids is not necessary because even these raw material fractions are converted into biodiesel. READ MORE
