5th Biogas Forum — October 31- November 1, 2018 — San Paulo, Brazil

The largest biogas event in the country, the Biogas Forum, held by the Brazilian Association of Biogas and Biomethane (ABiogás), will take place on October 31 and November 1, in São Paulo, and arrives at its fifth edition with a full schedule and the presence of representatives from all sectors of the production chain, utilization and improvement of the segment.
Among the speakers will be Bernard Sheff, vice president of engineering at the American Biogas Council (ABC), who will speak on the impact of RFS and LCFS policies on the North American biomethane market. Bernard Sheff holds a bachelor’s and master’s degree in civil engineering from Michigan State University. He is a registered professional engineer in the state of Michigan since 1988. He currently holds his second term as president of the American Biogas Council after seven years on the board and is vice president of biogas engineering at Montrose Environmental Group and became vice president of engineering of ES Engineering.
In addition to encouraging moments of networking and exchange of knowledge, the Biogas Forum has as its main objective the definitive insertion of biogas and biomethane in the Brazilian energy matrix. To participate in the debates, will be present executives, speakers and specialists who will address the technical, political and practical aspects of the sector, such as the advances and expectations of Biogas in Brazil, the evolutions of Renovabio, the distributed generation from biogas, use of biomethane in mobility, state incentive policies, financing options, the Raízen case and the implementation of the world’s largest biodigestion plant for electric power generation.
