China to Give Subsidies to Domestic Airlines, Plane Makers, to Help in Biofuels Development

(Fuels and Lubes)  China will channel part of the Civil Aviation Development Fund (CADF) to support energy-saving campaigns of domestic airlines and plane manufacturers.

The funds in the CADF, or the former airport construction fee, will be used for energy-saving innovative technologies and developing biofuel, according to the Civil Aviation Administration of China (CAAC).

Companies will be given subsidies, ranging from 30% to 60% of their total investment for emission reduction efforts.  READ MORE
