The American Ethanol Racecar Making Its Debut in Kansas!

(Growth Energy) The American Ethanol NASCAR racecar is making its grand entrance.
At the June 5^th NASCAR Kansas Speedway Sprint Cup race, the No. 33 Chevrolet racecar, driven by Kansas native Clint Bowyer of Richard Childress Racing, will debut on the track.
The car will be wrapped in the American Ethanol logo – a first for the partnership – and host the in-car camera on race day.
The American Ethanol racecar unveiling will provide an opportunity for the thousands of fans sitting in the stands and the millions more watching at home to learn about America’s renewable, homegrown fuel. Sunoco Green E15 has been fueling NASCAR racecars this season, providing improved horsepower and better mileage for the cars – proof that E15 is viable fuel for American motorists.
According to Bowyer, "We have been impressed on how well the 15 percent ethanol has worked. There is no way that we are going to put anything in our cars that is going to cost us one less mile per hour. We have been impressed with the burning of the new fuel, the mileage that we are getting is fantastic and frankly if it can survive the stress we put on the 15 percent ethanol, then any family car [will] have no problem with it.”
The American Ethanol partnership is a great opportunity to show NASCAR fans what home-grown ethanol can do.
In a sport where fans are fiercely loyal to their favorite drivers, American Ethanol’s sponsorship of the Richard Childress No. 33 Chevrolet will encourage NASCAR fans to demand ethanol blends at the pump.
