As an initiative of World Future Energy Summit 2018, Climate Innovation Exchange (CLIX) is a new marketplace that connects entrepreneurs and investors to enable the sourcing, funding and commercialisation of climate change solutions and technologies.
We are looking for entrepreneurs, start-ups and innovators from across the globe who want to pitch their conceptual ideas, new products or transformative business models to an esteemed panel of investors. Your innovation must be aligned to the three focus pillars of CLIX, which are: Air pollution, Clean mobility, Innovation agriculture.
CLIX is aligned with the Ministry of Climate Change and Environment’s (MoCCE) strategy to enable the sourcing, funding and commercialisation of climate change solutions and technologies.
The initiative is focused on solving the world’s most pressing climate change issues by connecting local and global entrepreneurs (concepts, start-ups and innovative companies in different stages of funding), with an audience of potential and series investors (angel, seed investors and venture capitalists). The entrepreneurs will pitch conceptual ideas, new products and transformative business models that are aligned with the MoCCE’s three pillars of sustainability.
Alongside the pitch platform, CLIX will host a Inspiring and Engaging Presentations area, which will act as the centrepiece of the CLIX experience. This platform highlights the voice of the youth in the discussion of sustainability and entrepreneurship and is in collaboration with The Student Exclusive programme of Abu Dhabi Sustainability Week.
