Tata Motors Unveils India’s First Biomethane Bus and Engines
(Tata Motors/NGV Journal) Tata Motors has unveiled the country’s first biomethane-powered bus at the Bio-energy program, called ‘Urja Utsav’, organized by the Ministry of Petroleum & Natural Gas. Tata Motors has pioneered the introduction of natural gas vehicles in India and has lauched several technologies in CNG engines. Displayed at the event were three engines, along with the lead model: Tata LPO 1613 with 5.7 SGI NA BS-IV IOBD-II compliant bus.
