Perry: Trump Committed to Making Renewables Competitive with Fossil Fuels

by John Siciliano (Washington Examiner)  Energy Secretary Rick Perry said Monday that the Trump administration supports making wind and solar energy more competitive with coal and fossil fuels, while simultaneously urging the world to embrace more natural gas exports and high-efficiency coal plants to help the environment.

At the same time, Perry underscored that fossil fuels will remain a dominant energy resource alongside renewables, and he urged his counterparts to support the development of highly efficient coal and natural gas power plants. READ MORE
