The RBOB which is the gasoline blended with ethanol to make 10 percent ethanol fuel. Ethanol is 114 octane, RBOB is 84 octane, the mix makes 87 octane. As of Feb. 5, 2018, RBOB is 53 cents per gallon higher than ethanol. It is plain who is saving the consumer money. We should be putting 25-30 percent ethanol in vehicle fuel.
