US Grains Council Releases New, Expanded Edition of DDGS Handbook
(Pork Network) To update current and potential customers on advances in research and end-users’ experience in feeding distiller’s dried grains with solubles (DDGS), the U.S. Grains Council (USGC) has released the third edition of A Guide to Distiller’s Dried Grains with Solubles.
This 3rd Edition of the DDGS user handbook updates previous editions with information on recent research and experience on DDGS use. This edition also includes several new chapters discussing low fat DDGS now being produced in many U.S. ethanol plants.
Chapters referring to DDGS in swine include:
* Use of DDGS in Swine Diets;
* Use of Reduced-Oil DDGS in Swine Diets;
* Managing Pork Fat Quality When Feeding High Amounts of DDGS to Growing-Finishing Pigs
