Spanish Biodiesel Plant to Get Upgrade

(Argus Media)  Austrian biodiesel engineering company BDI has been commissioned to upgrade a Spanish biodiesel plant, in a move that is hoped will meet growing biodiesel demand in Spain and reduce the cost of imported vegetable oil feedstocks.

…BDI will install multi-feedstock technology to broaden the use of raw materials to used cooking oils (Uco) and animal fats that meet the requirements of European standards. This will help lower the plant’s input cost and reduce the dependency on mostly imported feedstocks, such as rapeseed oil and soybean oil.  READ MORE
