Pond Biofuels Inc., CO2 Remediation and Renewable Fuel Production Demonstration Plant for GHG Emitting Industries Receives Support From the Asia Pacific Partnership

On December 3rd 2009, Canadian Prime Minister Stephen Harper announced approval of the project proposal submitted by Pond Biofuels Inc. under the Asia-Pacific Partnership (APP) on Clean Development and Climate program.  The approved project includes funding in support of its biomass from microalgae demonstration plant at St. Marys, Ontario as well as a feasibility study to assess the suitability of its technology to the cement industry in China.

… Directly connected to the raw stack gas of the cement plant located at St. Marys Ontario, Pond Biofuels is utilizing CO2 emissions to grow and harvest high value biomass from microalgae.  READ MORE
