PCA: Coconut Supply Enough for 5% Coco-Biodiesel Blend

by Paul Anthony a. Isla  (BusinessMirror.com)  THE Philippines has sufficient coconut supply to support up to a 5-percent coco methyl ester (CME) biodiesel blend, Carlos Carpio, Philippine Coconut Authority (PCA) deputy administrator, told reporters on Wednesday.

The PCA official said in an interview they recently recommended to the National Biofuels Board (NBB) the increase of coco-biodiesel blend to 5 percent from the current 2-percent blend.  READ MORE
