The LSU AgCenter will host the Louisiana Biofuels and Bioprocessing Summit September 11-12, 2012.

Building a Business Case for Louisiana. What does Louisiana Offer?

The objective of the summit is to strengthen Louisiana’s agricultural industries and provide a vision for enhancing our state’s profile in the emerging biofuels and bioprocessing area. It is a summit to learn how state research institutions, public agencies and private industry can collaborate to maximize Louisiana’s Resources. A panel of speakers will discuss the experiences, challenges and requirements that play a role in the development of the biofuels and bioprocessing industry in Louisiana. Our overall goal is for participants to understand what Louisiana can offer in terms of:

•       feedstock

•       scientific research

•       labor

•       state government incentives

•       other resources
