How do we do that?

With the hard work of dozens of volunteers and with YOUR support.

 We can do nothing without YOUR contributions.  We will put your generous contribution to good use as we work to promote public understanding, acceptance, and use of advanced biofuels.

Here are some examples of what we can accomplish with your donation:

Operating Costs:

• $200 pays for web site hosting, domain name renewal and basic web traffic analytics for a year.
• $500 keeps us in office supplies for a year.
• $1000 covers basic transportation costs to local briefings and meetings for a year.
• $1000 covers web design modifications and updates for this growing organization for a year.

Projects in Development:

• $50,000 will cover our Sustainable Agriculture Research and Education project to create a practical strategy to enable piedmont/mountainous area growers to participate in the energy crops market. We are currently designing a collaborative process involving “seed-to-wheel” stakeholders; another $50,000 will help fund demonstration projects growing from the Phase 1 effort.
• $75,000 will begin to fund a 2-year effort to develop a series of K-12 curriculum-based educational materials: Biomass to Biofuels Products; From Sun to Seed to Plant to Wheel, Solar Energy’s Path to Power; etc.
• $75,000 will fund an on-going Media/Decision-Maker Education Packet series including web and broadcast pieces.

RIGHT NOW, advanced biofuels research struggles in the Valley of Death between promising lab results and financing of commercialization step-ups. 

RIGHT NOW, the future of advanced biofuels throughout the world is threatened by unscientific fear-mongering that feeds on real concerns about the adequacy of our planet to support its population with sufficient food and power. 

RIGHT NOW, people are coming to the Advanced Biofuels USA web site (10,000 page views/week)

to LEARN about new technological developments in crop research, agronomy and agricultural best practices, feedstock processing, transportation, distribution and marketing; and the  companies and organizations involved with them;

to LEARN about policy debates (including international indirect land use assessment and low-carbon economy standards) and legislative and regulatory initiatives;

to LEARN about university, college and community programs that conduct research or provide training for this nascent industry.

Don’t let this fine resource die away.  Let there be an organization that strives to build a bridge of understanding, to bring knowledge and information to decision-makers.
