Hawaii’s Largest Oil Refinery Owner in Talks with Biofuel Developers

by Duane Shimogawa (Pacific Business News)  Par Pacific Holdings Inc., owner of the largest oil refinery in Hawaii, is actively speaking with several biofuel developers regarding the use of this renewable fuel as a replacement for oil, a company executive confirmed to Pacific Business News.

Eric Wright, senior vice president of logistics for Par Hawaii Inc., a subsidiary of the Houston, Texas-based company, told PBN that Par is actively speaking to several groups, including a couple that show particular promise for growing biofuel crops. READ MORE
