France to Close the Door on Shale Gas Exploration

(EnergyMarketPrice)  Speaking at the opening of an environmental conference in Paris, the French President François Hollande announced he has rejected several applications to begin extracting natural gas and oil from shale using hydraulic fracking practice, which uses a high-pressure mixture of sand, water and chemicals to extract natural gas trapped in rocks.
