Ethanol Plant to Hold Open House on Oct. 20

(Beaver Dam Daily Citizen)  Everything about ethanol will be discussed at the Friesland Renewable Energy Production facility on Saturday, Oct. 20, from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.

During the open house, members of the United Wisconsin Grain Producers will be providing tours of the ethanol plant, and having a lineup of speakers to educate the public about the benefits of ethanol in the rural economy and agriculture. There will also be staff available to answer questions. Food will be served throughout the day, and prizes and handouts will be given away.

Barb Bontrager, general manager of UWGP said the event is an effort to inform consumers they have an increasing amount of choices as to what fuel they can purchase for their vehicle and educate them on how to choose wisely.  READ MORE
