Oh wait, there are no longer any subsidies. In fact, since the blender’s credit expired on Dec. 31, 2011, ethanol plants have been operating self-sufficiently.

I will be the first to admit I was critical about the amount of subsidies that initially went into ethanol production, but today it is time to set the record straight. There are subsidies no more and, more importantly, why can’t other industries like oil follow suit?  READ MORE
