Crews Test Pond near Biodiesel Plant

(ABC2News)   …Princess Anne and Somerset County officials told The Daily Times of Salisbury (http://bit.ly/MEf0Ls ) that they are waiting for state environmental regulators to identify the substance found near a biodiesel plant in the industrial park.

State environmental officials began investigating after receiving a report in March of an oily substance and odors from a stormwater ditch. The substance was traced to a pond at the plant that makes biodiesel from chicken waste and used cooking oil.    READ MORE
