by Joelle Brink  (Biofuels Digest-Asia)  As New Year celebrations get under way throughout Asia, the year in biofuels is shaping up to be one of uncertainty.  Already, notable advances in sustainable palm oil supply, cellulosic ethanol production, and biofuels from coastal saline cash crops promise a breakthrough year for Asian biofuels. Yet escalating food prices, a major earthquake and floods in Pakistan and rising sea levels globally remind us of the many challenges we have yet to overcome.
