CALL FOR PRESENTATIONS:  2012 Annual Renewable Energy Conference  November 5  Jonesboro, AR  DEADLINE: October 11, 2012

(Arkansas State University College of  Agriculture and Technology)  This conference will feature invited speakers from industry, research, outreach, and education communities in the emerging areas of renewable energy. Experts will provide overview of current efforts and challenges in various areas of renewable energy. This conference would also provide an opportunity for the researchers in different sectors of renewable energy to present their work.

The event is free, but registration is required to reserve your space and lunch. A buffet lunch will be provided.  READ MORE

Call for Papers and Posters

Research papers are solicited within the broad scope of renewable energy and energy efficiency. Subject areas of interest include biomass feed stocks and biofuels, conversion and processing methods for bio-based products, materials and methods for harnessing solar energy, solar photovoltaics, nanomaterial in energy applications, hydrogen production, advances and applications of wind energy, energy conservation and efficiency, energy transmission and distribution, and energy economics.

Submitting Papers & Posters

If you plan to present a paper or poster, please submit an abstract of 100-200 words by October 11, 2012. Papers are scheduled for 15-minute presentations with 5 minutes for questions. Posters are restricted to 4’x 6’ in size. In the header of the abstract include the name, affiliation, and e-mail address of each presenter and the title of the paper. After the abstract, indicate if submission is for a “paper” or “poster”. The presenters must register by the registration deadline. Please send abstracts via e-mail (ppatel@astate.edu), as an attachment as a Word file, and use the subject “RE Abstract”.

Deadline: Abstracts mustbe received by 5.00 PM CST on October 11, 2012
