On July 31-August 1, the U.S. Department of Energy’s Bioenergy Technologies Office will host its sixth annual conference, with Advanced Biofuels USA as a co-host for the second year. Biomass 2013: How the Advanced Bioindustry is Reshaping American Energy, at the Washington, D.C. Convention Center, will highlight the successes of the bioenergy industry over the past 20 years, as well as provide a forum to exchange ideas, showcase new technologies, and discuss opportunities for the future. Biomass 2013 promises to be an important conference for all things related to biomass, biofuels, and bioenergy.
Biomass 2013 will bring together hundreds of diverse stakeholders with key decision makers in the public and private sectors, as well as a range of interdisciplinary experts, to discuss the latest advances in bioenergy technology, policy news, and financing strategies. Situated just blocks away from Capitol Hill, the White House, federal agencies, and the headquarters of numerous national and international organizations, the conference will provide a superb forum for open dialogue about overcoming common challenges and sustaining our national commitment to building the advanced bioenergy economy.

With over 700 people in attendance last year, Biomass 2013 promises to be an important and exciting conference for all things related to biomass, biofuels, and bioenergy.
Advanced Biofuels USA, a 501(c)3 nonprofit educational organization as co-host of the US Department of Energy’s Biomass 2013 will manage the exhibit area, provide refreshments, and handle exhibition financial transactions.
The exhibit area is located in an outstanding location in the midst of all the conference keynote and breakout sessions. Attendees won’t be able to miss you.

Consistent with new Office of Management and Budget (OMB) guidelines for all federal conferences, there will be a modest registration fee collected to offset logistical costs for this year’s Biomass 2013 conference. The registration fee breakdown structure is below:
- Student – $50.00

- National Laboratory Staff – $100.00
- General (by July 8th) – $100.00
- General (after July 8th) – $150.00

Advanced Biofuels USA’s volunteers are contributing their time and talents to enable this exceptional conference to continue to be offered. Advanced Biofuels USA, a nonprofit educational organization advocates for the adoption of advanced biofuels as an energy security, military flexibility, economic development and climate change mitigation/pollution control solution.
