6th International Conference on Biodiesel. Biodiesel – A Fuel on the Move May 7-8, 2013 Berlin, Germany
Biofuels remain a topic that is controversial, and although frequently attacked unjustly, they remain an important component in maintaining our mobility and the fight against climate change.
The biofuels of the “First Generation” today represent the only alternative that makes a measurable contribution to the energy supply and to secure mobility – the next generations are still far away from realization. And even if urgent political issues and economic considerations are at the forefront of the biofuel debate, yet the technology must not be neglected.
Increasing demands on emissions, fuel consumption and durability of vehicles both the automotive industry and fuel manufacturers introduce growing tasks that no one can master alone. It is important to maintain the quality of today’s fuels and to improve and develop new formulations, improved production processes and also new products that are adapted to the requirements. Motorized solutions for the optimal use of these fuels can be found, and additives that can optimize combustion and reduce deposit formation, must also play their part – for all those who participate in the process, there is still a lot of work.
The 6th International Conference AGQM deal once more with biodiesel – a fuel that drives, but the need to find its way into a changing future. The conference program will thereby build a bridge from the political and economic environment for technology – a balancing act, and we hope that he succeeds.
