The Swedish Bioenergy Association is organising the 3rd International Advanced Biofuels Conference in Gothenburg between the 17th and 19th of May 2017 in co-operation with IEA Bioenergy. During the event leading experts will gather to discuss how advanced biofuels are an ever important piece in the transition to a fossil-free word.

The Advanced Biofuels Conference is intended for those who are interested in creating a sustainable transport sector. Speakers and delegates will be policy makers and politicians, leading scientists, researchers, engineers, as well as executives and representatives from companies, organisations, governments and authorities.

It is all about greenhouse gas reduction performance, therefore advanced biofuels are defined as sustainable biofuels, regardless of raw material or processing technology. Clean and efficient conversion of biomass from agriculture, forest and water in biorefineries demonstrates opportunities for large-scale production of biofuels with commercial break-through in many sectors.
